dirty rounds

hey everybody im looking for some input,im sighting in my 22 bolt as soon as the stock is finished and i wondering if theres any rounds i should stay away from,from what i can tell from shooting it the first time it likes thunder bolts and american eagle 38 grain copper plated hollow points,i know thunder bolts are dirty but will it do any unwanted damage,and is there any REALLY dirty rounds i shouldn't even touch

Remington is the dirtiest stuff I have ever seen. I will not use any of it. Cci is pretty clean as far as 22lr ammo goes.

I agree, I remember shooting that stuff in my first handgun (Ruger MKll Govt Target). I was the filthiest stuff I had ever used. The empty cases were stained black for half their length & a lot of powder & carbon residue all over the breech of the gun.

I like the Remington shotgun shells & centerfire rifle ammo but I avoid their rimfire product.
