Thanks Guys but I have a Lilja barrel sitting in my safe dying to be shot. It has been sitting there since OCT. I am just awaiting a cutom stock. Should be here in a week or so. Here is a pic of them.

Now thats a nice stock in a pleasing clasical shape! I once spotted a ted gaillard(sp) 10/22 barrel(a one off deal?) at a gunshow for $250.... Back at home I reasearched the builder because it a was a buitifull stainless fluted barrel. Whent back the next day and it was gone. I bet it would of been a great barrel.

Going to get it bedded? Or do it yourself?

I am going to see how it shoots first. If it shoots to my expectations I won't bed it. If I notice that there could be room for accuracy then I will. I would have someone else do it. I don't trust myself:D

Just because of the tourque on the action and its sinlge screw mounting point I would get it bedded anyway People who are in the know(im not) should chime in and say the same thing. Although if you streach your reciver its the cheapest part of your gun lol.

Have you ever bedded any of your 10/22's???

I found an increase in accuracy when I did both of mine.

Having said that I would be real scared to mess up a stock like that. You would have to be real careful not to get any epoxy on it!

That gun with a lilja should be a tack driver :D

Thats why you cover every place that could get epoxy with good masking tape(and overlap it)!

My humble 10/22 with a green mountain barrel(imported myself), stoned and polished hammer for 4lb aprox trigger weight, PC base. factory stock with reamed out chanel epoxy beded to ballance point, $50 canadian for the bipod off ebay a wile back. This would probably be the cheapest 10/22 build out there lol, and it absolutly loves winchester power points. Oh also I head spaced it myself with good results!

This is one gun that im not afraid to take afeild and get dust and dirt in everything like everything does in saskatchewan in summer(kindof like afganistan).

I actually have never bedded any of my 10/22. Like you mentioned cz452shooter I wouldn't want to take any chances messing up the stock.

Great build Big JD. I hope my barrels likes powerpoints. I think they are probably one of the best ammo's out there.

I'll be contacting him shortly ref one of those bolt handles! Thanks!

No problem.:D Upon putting both handles in, I cycled each of them and they are silky smooth. That polished guide rod is really nice and they are both really light weight. Even if you got the handles oversized, it don't think it would hamper the cycling process, there is barely any weight to them.

#2.....I just ordered one like it from him yesterday.....:)

You will probably receive your handle in a little over a week. They ship very promptly.

Thanks for all the responses. Keep those votes coming :D
