Wonder if the Cosco shipping policy change has anything to do with the UN small arms trade treaty!? So no more ammo at all from overseas? More clarification please.

Agreed, if it's a wider restructuring of import/export rules than people are going to go on buying spree ;)

Did a little more digging and found that COSCO has to go through the port of Seattle USA to ship ammunition to us. Since they had to do a bunch of paperwork to get it here (thanks to the USA) they had enough of that game and will no longer ship any explosives which includes ammo. This is NOT the official word just what I've read on misc. forums.

WT serious ####! Obama you POS, can't #### his own country over enough he has to do it to us too?
So what is the alternative? Why cant they just ship straight to Vancouver or get an Eastern Block country to ship to Halifax?

The picture of the ammo carton has a contract # on it. I realize the packaging is for the english speaking retail market. But since the U.S.A. can't recieve ammo from Norinco? Where in the world does the rest of the production run of this ammo go??? Or is this run for CA only? Just curious!!!! Or is all that a trade secret?
that is our contract number

this is not the reason, it has to do with crew nationality and COSCO policy

...Hmmm maybe I should go get that boat the Canadian coast guard set adrift in the Atlantic and start my own transport company......

The 'ol Lyubov Orlova! Shouldn't be too hard to find 'er. I'd imagine she's in hard shape lol

Hopefully an alternative solution is found!

I have some of the silver box Norinco ammo. I was wondering if this stuff is better and why it is better? Is the silver box stuff really non corrosive, because I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

100% non corrosive. My SKS would have rotted by now otherwise. It's never seen anything but the silver box stuff and is fine.
