disapearring ground blind :(

I have had mine missing a few times, I was able to find it. Sometimes over 200 yards away. My trail cam was able to take a pic as it few by in the wind.

My turkey popup blind was carried away by a freak Spring windstorm a couple of years back. Was at the edge of a farm field, big plot of swamp right downwind, did not even bother to look for it figured it was gone. Landowner found it and returned it to me the following Spring, he found it in a drainage ditch maybe 200 yards away, other than the zippers the rest was still ok.

My BBQ cover is extremely heavy but that didn't stop the wind from carrying it off more than 100 yards. A lightweight hunting blind could go a helluva lot further. Hell, I've seen the wind blow over 3500bu steel grain bins like they were nothing.

My pop up blind will blow 20 feet away and lay perfectly flat and its hard to find. I assume that's what happened here.

It very well may be some of us have these 99 year leases of crown land that the government refuses to sell.

Probably the wind or stolen. Never seen a bear carry anything past about 100 yds.

It likely blew away and folded upon itself within a few yards making it hard to find.

It sounds like it was stolen, and they either didn't want the chairs and bag, or just wanted to get away with the blind ASAP.

Probably stolen, but you can't completely rule out bears. We've got some bears that like to steal empty barrels, near as we can tell just for the fun of rolling them around. One stole a hand-saw awhile back. What's a bear need a saw for?

I would say the bear maybe go tangled up in it and dragged it away. My brother in law has a picture of a bear on his trail cam of a black bear stealing our PVC pipe deer feeder. The bear was walking on his hind legs carrying the feeder away. LOL Never found the feeder.

I found a pop up tent yesterday, up against a barbwire fence. If the side of the fence it stopped on indicates the wind direction it might have flown for miles.
