My order for a Tavor Tar-21 shipped today, despite my cancellation request. My credit card was charged, and despite not having enough credit available, a temporary authorization of $3079.84 was placed on my credit card...if it goes through, I will be overlimit by $1683.59! My other orders with SFRC for a NP29 and HP9-1 were fine, but this time...:(

I feel your pain. I've been there.

You could always see if they'll take it back, unopened, minus shipping. If that doesn't work, I'm sure you'd welcome a restocking fee at this stage, no? Suggest it. "Please take it back I don't want it anymore... I'll pay a restocking fee. It's unopened." usually works.

Otherwise you can try to sell it in the EE minus shipping (again don't open it) and explain your situation if you want to get the most for it. Beware 'le lowballer' who loves to kick you when you're down.

The only way you could have got out of this is if you had cancelled your CC and then you'd have lost your deposit. I think once you put your deposit down you are "hooped" unless they state, 100% refundable deposit - which most places don't.

~Cheers

So you placed and order for something you couldn't afford and are mad because you got cold feet last minute and the business processed it anyway before getting your cancellation request? and instead of phoning and talking to them you attempt at slandering them in a public forum all the while making yourself look foolish and unable to make good decisions with your finances?

Drop me an email and we'll get it sorted out for you. You can just return it and we'll credit it back to you. If it shipped then your card went thru, it wasn't a temp hold.

It's all good, our mistake, not his. He asked if he could cancel last week and switch to a different product. We missed his reply email asking that he cancel it.

@G37:I didn't have to pay a deposit for this item.
@lil_juiced_coupe:I sent my cancellation request two weeks ago. I will not be posting screenshots or email conversations since the complaint has been resolved...

Email sent. Thank you for the quick replies from everyone.

No problem and sorry about the mix up.

Iphone, just a heads up, I don't think CGN allows emails etc to be posted on here. It's not an issue for me as it's our error and we'll get it fixed for you. I just wouldn't want to see you get an infraction.

Thanks for the heads up, Ryan :)

So emails go under rule #11 of the CGN General Rules and Guidelines as well? Searching turned up nothing for me...we might need a new thread for it, or a FAQ update...

I have has several deals with Ryan at SFRC and all were perfect, except for one, which was a suppliers fault not his,and never in my life have I seen a dealer go so far above and beyond to make it right. If SFRC carried everything I wanted I would not bother shopping anywhere else.

Ok Guys. If you have an issue like this don't post it on CGN. Call the people direct comon! If you have real issues that aren't resolved after direct contact then go ahead and post. Doing stuff like this before seeking a resolution is a waste of your time, the dealers time and everyone who clicks on a post like this (of which there are waaaaayyyy too many).

I disagree!

It makes everything transparent, allowing everyone here to see how such issues are resolved by the dealer.

This particular thread will serve as a great advertisement for SFRC.

I look forward to doing business with them in the future.
