Disassemble cz 858 magazine

Recently bought a cz 858 tactical-2 from a local gun store. Assuming its originally from wolverine as I got their catalog in the box with it.
It came with 4 of the 30, pinned to 5, magazines.

I'm looking to refinish/clean the magazines, is there any trick to disassembling them as the pin blocks the removal of the follower.

i have never taken mine apart but the bottom looks like it slides out if you press in the detent in the center .

Ya, its comes apart, however the pin stops the follower from coming out and the spring appears to be attached to the follower.
Just want to know if anyone has a work around for it.
 
The law states that it must be a permanent or not easily removed modification, pop rivets are not easily removed and are what most people use. Ive got mine dissassembled right now and just need to trim some 3/16 rivets to the proper length and open the holes a little to fit them. A bolt will not suffice as its easily removed, unless you tack it in place. Riveting an extension to the plate that sits on top of the floorplate, like a tapco mag would work as well. You wont get the follower out without removing the pin, its the only way. Good luck and post back if you run into trouble
 
If one really feels the need, the bottom does come off by pushing the dimple and sliding the floor off. With the pin, follower, and spring in place, you could wash the inside easy enough by rinsing it out with varsol and blowdrying it with compressed air. Then it's a simple matter of pushing everything back in and sliding the floor back in place.

Doing it the way I just described, can also save you the headache of searching for everything after the spring slips through your fingers. Not so much of a problem in a "clean" shop, but I have yet to see a really clean shop. Lots of "stuff" for parts to hind behind in mine. Don't ask how I know this.
