disassemble Enfield no4mk1 Sight (mk1 Version)

Does anyone have any idea how to disassemble a mark 1 sight for a no4 enfield ?? or is someone here good enough to rebuild my sight for me

the pin that holds the detent for the sight adjustment is gone and I want to take one out of my old one to put in it.... plus if I disassemble it I can clean it up alot.

one other thing, the site is stamped with a /|\ does that mean it is canadian issue ??

The broad arrow doesn't mean it's Canadian issue. It is the British War Dept. stamp. So, it's British. If Canadian it would have a large "C" with a broad arrow inside. Sorry I can't help with the sight. Dave

There is a very small pin which keeps the elevation stem in place, up toward the top, near the knob.
