Discovered: A complete Ross M-1910!!!

A young guy submitted some pics of his grandfather's Ross.
Here's a shot of the buttstock.
Can someone tell us her story? I'll try to get better pics from him soon.

All that came up is one picture showing the serial number of the rifle.

Story from that: 1910 Model Ross Mark III rifle, serial 712/1918 MK.

Looks like it might have been painted black at one time long ago.

wow, it is a very late production. COuld it be something else that 1918? I tought they stop making them before the end of wwi. What is the last production year?
