And Im normally not playing around with different magnifications either.I agree, FFP is not an asset for this type of shooting for me either.

I have been using the Discovery scope model HI 8-32 X 50 SF on a Marlin 880 stainless steel .22 rifle custom stock ,took synthetic stock off .I have been using it for 6 years no hiccups. I am using Winchester X bullets.I can shoot into same bullet hole all day long Zeroed it at 70 meters for small game hunting and pest control. It was on may Air Arms ultra FAC PCP as well ,,both rifles sub MOA tack driver if I must. Bought another one few months later. Had a Tasco World class scope on the .22 Marlin before. This was a great scope too. I see haters elsewhere of the scope or brand because its Chinese made but 95 percent of stuff all made in China then re badged or branded made elsewhere money making thing,,,???? So cant really give negatives of the brand but only praise it. I can if you want pictures, you can to email me for pictures mounted to my Marlin 880 .22 rifleAnyone use them?
What model and what’s your experience?
Seems an affordable way to try out different scope types without breaking the bank.
I have their HT 4-16x40 FFP 30mm. Bought direct from Discovery for $89.99 USD delivered with rings, throw lever, sunshade, scope caps. And a full warranty apparently.
So far I’ve been impressed with the quality for the price - much better build quality than I expected - but only had a couple of months. Rings weren’t great, but everything else seems pretty solid.
Would be interested in others experience with their various models..
I just discovered this exact scope.Has anyone tried the Discoveryopt HD 2-12x24 SFIR compact scope? The size and weight is what interests me most. It’s 8.5 inches long and 500gr. It would be going on the brand new ruger x-22 carbon with 16 inch carbon fiber barrel and weighs only 3.5 lbs total.
I bought one and tried it out. Glass was ok, nothing great. Didn’t really work well for me so I sold it after using it once.I just discovered this exact scope. For $233 it miight be ideal for my MKII FV SR......which I have to buy first lol.
