Discussion thread - 2024 - 100 yard .22LR challenge

Today I shot ten ten-shot groups at 100 yards that were all under 1". This was only the third time ever that I have done this. It's harder to do that than shooting a target with a three group average under 0.700".
Decent groups. It would still be great to see what rifle/ammo you were using.. especially in the discussion thread :)

I shot an attempt again yesterday with SK+.

Man, are the benches at this range ever uncomfortable for me and there's no stop to pre load your bipod. Apparently this is worse then my last submission so I'm not making an official post!

I shoot great/a lot at 50y but my groups seem to triple when going out to 100.

I bring a 1x2 and some bar clamps to make a stop.

Like when I used to shoot prone. The raised prone pad was too low, since adding the ground berms. So l lifted it with cinder blocks. Club offered to reimburse me. Sometimes you gotta adapt it to suit your shooting needs.
