Disgusting Hunting Video on Youtube

Ok the other night I was looking at some shooting and hunting videos on youtube when I happened across a video that totally disgusted me as a hunter.

The video was about a guy that had shot his first deer but shot it in the spine, that wasn't the disgusting part, the disgusting part was while the animal was suffering 50 feet away and trying to crawl away on it's belly, this guy wanted so bad for his buddy to get him on video shooting the deer in the head that he just let the deer lay there trying to get away on it's belly, so while his buddy took the time to get the camera out and start recording him he just let the animal suffer.

Now I know allot of people may see this differently than I do, but I think it was one of the most disgusting and disturbing things I've ever seen another hunter do, (and I find it hard calling this guy a hunter),

The fact that he made a bad shot is not the point we all may make a bad shot at one point, the fact that he let the animal suffer so his buddy could record him shooting it in the head and then posts the mess on youtube for EVERYONE to see is what bothers me, we as hunters have a hard enough time as it is with the animal rights groups and then a numbskull like this guy posts something like this on youtube for them to see so they can have more fuel for their fires and label us all as just cruel blood thirsty killers, the last thing we need is knuckle heads like this guy who probably calls himself a hunter making it even harder for us.

Anyway I'll post a link so you can judge for yourself, but I warn you if you are in the least little bit an ethical hunter or an hunter with the smallest grain of compassion this is going to make you want to string this guy up. Anyway judge for yourself the link is below.

It drives me nuts that everyone has to record and show video of everything that they do. I appreciate a fair bit of it as i find some of it educational but the rest is kinda a bit much.

A) He waited to finish the animal.Didn't do it with any haste.

B) He gloated and celebrated like he just won the battle of the century.

Hope not too many young and new hunters emulate his style.Maybe too much TV for him.

Situation being the same , to me I would have much preferred the hunter showing some concern immediately after the shot and hurrying to finish the job off, sometimes things happen, but then I guess we wouldn't have gotten the Oscar winning performance.
 
I don't even want to see it ...it makes me sick thinking about it. I think the #### head should have his hunting rights taken away, if what you say is true...end of story
 
That was extremely callous. No respect whatsoever for the animal. I would bet dollars for donuts they will not skin it and gut it themselves to cool it down, the meat will be unfit for anything but dog food.

(To hitch.bd yes it's as bad as I described it (or worse) so if you really get bothered by senseless cruelty then don't watch it because it's sickening, I wish I hadn't seen it.)

I am glad some of you did have the stomach to watch to see the kind of nutcases that they allow to go in the woods with a gun, How can hunters not be looked down on, when people that don't know any different and think this is how we all hunt, see this.

I think I'll be angry, disgusted and feel every other negative feeling one can feel about someone after watching this for some time to come.

Thing is I think a**holes like this are probably getting a kick out of all the negative comments he's getting on the video and is probably to stupid to remove it not realizing (or caring) about the damage he's done to the rest of us. HE"S A DAM PIECE OF CRAP IN MY OPPINION

I didn't watch, I don't want to watch. I feel bad enough doing this to gophers, I can't imagine doing this to a deer, never mind filming it
