Dishwasher m14 warning.

no one I know would put wrenches or sockets in a dishwasher, so why then would
Anyone put an entire firearm in there.
A $2 can of brake cleaner works faster than a dishwasher for the wood stock btw,
Astounded at the stupidity and laziness of this dishwasher idea for anything but eating utensils.

Ever looked to see what is in a can of brake cleaner?

I don't think I've seen this thread alive, but I have certainly HEARD of it.
It feels good to be a part of history, and the present, and the future. Because we all know this thread is coming back again....

But truthfully for people that wouldn't know what to do, we know what not to. ;)

I once threw some of my black powder rifle parts into the old lady's dish washing machine. When they were done I soaked 'em in WD40, wiped 'em off and lubed them and all was just righter than rain afterward!

Until the old lady came home and asked why the kitchen smelled like a wet fart mixed with rotten eggs. Clean your guns responsibly, men! The police view killings resulting from stuff like this as justifiable manslaughter...

Buddy of mine, following my advice, used Easy Off to clean a milsurp riflestock. Sadly for him he had one of the newer, expensive, shower tubs and his gun-hating Missus came home to the outline of a riflestock in the tub. He took no more of my redneck advice :)

What does the Kitchen Counsellor say about this one?

I do know that most motorcycle engine parts and covers are okay to go into the dishwasher. Also, you can throw all of your Kawasaki Ninja bodywork into the jacuzzi soaker tub to get PEI mud off them. That works, too.

Haha CGN now supports 'Mobile Handsets' lol like wtf, mobile handsets? I mean come on, wtf is a mobile handset this is 2014 not 1994. The correct terminology is "app for your smartphone" or "we figured out how to make cgn work with mobile browsers" not 'works on mobile handsets with small screens' hahaha man wtf
