I was wondering how many of you dispose of your game after you are finnished getting the meat off of the animal. Or what is the proper way to dispose of finished game. Thanks

generaly once the meat is removed your are left with the skeleton i usualy just take it out with the trash on garbage day good idea to bag it though

i throught the gutts and the carcass in the bush for the coyotes and crows.

What I plan to do also, and what the butcher gives me back after he bones it out I'm giving half to the dogs, and the rest back in the bush.

Usually the small game gets bagged and thrown in the trash. Big game in the bush.

I'd rather put things in the forest though....

I gut, skin and debone into major sections in the bush. When I get home I only have the head, shoulder bones and hip bones to finish deboning and put in the trash.

Let all the wild critters "recycle" guts, bones, etc. One friend of mine did get a tic from a NRO for plucking a couple snow geese by his truck at the marsh???

That doesn't make any sense, unless he took all the feathers off and didn't leave a feathered wing attached for ###/species ID...

I give all my scraps to the dog and magpies. My kids have fun trying to shoot the magpies as they come to the pile. Makes excellent shotgun practice for them.

It all gets "recycled"
Bones get Hucked. That means my dog Huckleberry gets them
Guts and such go to the critters in the bush
One hide gets swapped for a hat while any others go to the taxiderist for whatever he wants with them

Hmmm you make a good point about the Hide, I seem to remember paying an arm and a leg for tanned Deer Hide...I wonder if it is worth something to someone?

We give the hides to "hides for habitat" (I think that is what its called) They use it for different things, you can also win a prize for donating it.
