Hey guys and girls. What's a guy gotta do to get an answer from Dlask??? I've emialed, left phone messages and nada... Too bad tos as I have the money and I need one of these shortguns!
Any ideas? Anyone wanting to sell off their's....

basically they are ignoring everyone, ive called, pm'd,emailed and left messages, i had a few concerns about my dealings with them and they wont call back or acknowledge my contact........what a business, make a rare and wanted product, ask 3 times what its worth and treat clients badly in the process..........WOW!!!!!

Im sure they're extremely busy
But im puzzled about "ask 3 times whast its worth" . Economics 101 says that a rare and wanted product ie supply low + demand high will command a high price. So it seems to me the product is worth exactly what willing buyers and sellers are paying/receiving for it.

How are they treating owners badly? When the RCMP pulled the reclassification stunt DLASK:
- Informed everyone of the problem immediately
- Replaced SMD-12 marked guns with unmarked ones AT THEIR COST
- Sent buttstocks to everyone AT THEIR COST
I think they have done right by owners under crappy circumstances beyond their control.
Yes they can be hard to get hold of at times, but with patience and persistence I have always gotten through.
Three times what it is worth?! - Try to find a similar product for $300
Too bad you bailed, enjoy your 18-20" Mossberg and we'll enjoy the 8.5" 870s

Here in a nut shell is the problem... we as law abiding Canadian citizens have to always follow the laws of Canada to the exact letter of those laws but here in this situation for whatever the reason the RCMP decided that they are above the law and can reclassify this firearm even though evrything about it is legal.
Dlask couldn't have done anything different considering the circumstances that they were hit with and given time everyone will be looked after.
Those nay sayers among us are still amazing me...
In my case I personally saw the firearm and decided that no matter what the classification I wanted one.
Go Joe thanks again for pushing the laws for us and making these awesome shotguns even possible to own...

Tamer grip = $50
Manufactured barrel = $300
Custom work = $200 - 300
Now with "bonus" butt stock. The price seems very fair when you break it down, even if you did not take into the account the custom work. You're paying for a unique item, you can't run out to SIR and buy one. If you say, "what's the point?", I hear browning makes a nice 30" duck gun... you can check it out at SIR...

I just got through to Dlask. My non-restricted 8.5" barrelled/pistol gripped Remington shotgun should be in the mail to me on Wednesday.

Checked my Visa account today. Dlask has charged me for the shotgun and shipping. It should be here for my camping/hiking/fishing trip to the grizzly infested Kootenay's!
