I've dealt with SFRC before and been satisfied, but today I was very dissapointed. I placed an online order for a non-restricted firearm and I was supposed to receive it today. When I called to find out where my pacakge was it hadn't even been packaged or shipped.

!!!!DON'T PUT A DELIVERY DATE ON YOUR WEBSITE IF THATS NOT GOING TO BE THE DELIVERY DATE!!!! That is very misleading!

Secondly, the lady who answers the phone there has quite the attitude!

Strange. I've dealt with them before and I was very satisfied with the service.

As for the attitude, what was your tone when you spoke to her?

Yeah, my experience with them has been generally positive but they get badly overextended at times and then things get rough. They can't get anything out the door within a week of when they got the order, then people call to :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: and their reps (or rep?) lose patience. I guess you gotta cut everyone a bit of slack around this time of year, especially the smaller operations with high demand. Even Amazon goobered up a few of my orders with delays.

I feel your pain, especially when you are dieing from waiting for your self adressed "Christmas gift" to arrive.

But you should have contacted Ryan first, before posting here, he should take care of it.

What concerns the lady, she must have been naughty, and her Christmas didn't turn out so nice... :)

They usually send me a tracking number if my item is shipped.
But it was chrimstas time, so you should be more understanding..they probably got busy with christmas.

My experiences with SFRC excellent my ordered have always arrived a day earlier than they said.
I agree with Polaris though you should have contacted Ryan before posting here, he always take care of things

It's Xmas time and we are closed for most of the holidays.

Do you have any idea how many people called on Boxing Day to see if the parcel they ordered between Xmas eve and Xmas day had shipped. Be patient.

And the delivery date is the estimated date. It can't take holidays into account, extra mail volume etc...again its an estimate.

Edit: I am back at the store now. You placed your order on boxing day around noon. There is no parcel pickup on BOXING DAY. The next day was the 27th which I'm sure you know was a HUGE BLIZZARD which shut everything down. I'm sure you experienced the same thing as you are less than 2 hours from us. It would have gotten processed today but you decided to cancel your order.

As with MOST of the above posters, I have had nothing but excellent service from SFRC. The agent on the phone was very polite and took time to find information when I asked. I have made several transactions from them in the past few months alone, and evry one of my packages has arrived at least a day earlier than the date posted.

I will definitely be spending more money with them in the future.

It was ridiculous of you to think that mail goes out on Boxing Day.... Shipping dates are usually estimates. The business cannot take into account holidays or delays with various couriers. Common sense.....

That man is a machine (Ryan) but he can only do so much at this time of year. Its not right of you to come on here and put a negative post, of such a thing with out thinking clearly.

:HR:lol wow.. I thought you were waiting for few weeks not 2 days in the busy season of the year.... waste of my time on this thread

Guess that covers that issue.

Or in fairness, we should wait to hear back from Mr. Porc to see if there is anyhting else.....................

Mrs. Chemist has been extremely polite, professional and friendly on the phone with me. And when I made it into the store in person, the whole staff has been the same.

She must be an awful patient person putting up with the likes of "some" people. I know I wouldn't have it in me.

We as customers expect too much sometimes, online firearms purchasing... Think about that for a second. Now be glad it's possible and you don't have to drive all over the country to satisfy your hunting/target shooting needs. I've cancelled an order and I'm sure I will again, but I don't cry about the service, they couldn't ship soon enough and that happens. I worked in electronics retail for a year... Never again, people are animals. This is a hobby, and it would be a whole lot harder to do without companies like SFRC.
Thanks for the awesome service and putting up with us. Keep up the good work Ryan!

I'm certain that the OP was under fire and needed the ammo to fight back - hence the urgency. Sheesh..
Oh wait... CanPar and UPS or whomever would be held out of the combat zone and wouldn't deliver. Tough noogies.

Go get him, bad guys - he's out of ammo...

PATIENCE.
