Dissapointed in shipping

Funny stuff.

It's sad how people have become. Years ago you ordered your car and waited 3 mos. for it to be built. When it was ready, you actually paid for it at the time of purchase. You had to take enough money out of the bank on Friday or go without until Monday. You had to process and cook your own food.

Today everybody wants everything now. That's why so many young adults get into finacial trouble. Too much credit. That's also why people are getting such big bucks on the EE...they want to buy it now rather then take some time and go look for a nice deal.

I'm surprised that people are still willing to wait 9 mos. for a baby...

Very happy with SFRC when I have dealt with them in the past. It is the holidays, everything can be slow around this time.

It's Xmas time and we are closed for most of the holidays.

Do you have any idea how many people called on Boxing Day to see if the parcel they ordered between Xmas eve and Xmas day had shipped. Be patient.

And the delivery date is the estimated date. It can't take holidays into account, extra mail volume etc...again its an estimate.

Edit: I am back at the store now. You placed your order on boxing day around noon. There is no parcel pickup on BOXING DAY. The next day was the 27th which I'm sure you know was a HUGE BLIZZARD which shut everything down. I'm sure you experienced the same thing as you are less than 2 hours from us. It would have gotten processed today but you decided to cancel your order.

Ryan if you really cared about my business you would have gotten in your truck on Christmas eve and drove 3000km to satisfy your websites automated lead time report....... once that blizzard is gone your screwed! I'll be the dude in your parking lot with the torch and pitchfork leading a angry mob of pilgrams!.... You got a Tim's close to you by chance? I also prefer a Holiday Inn since I get a discount through my work. This will be my first non-sensical witch hunt in Ontario and I'm looking to do some trip planning.

P.S for those you can't see the sarcasm bleeding through here please..... stop breathing

It still sounds like you didn't appreciate this customers concern.
Chemist, the following is your original post from the thread that was titled the same, locked then removed...

Chemist, perhaps the above is why the order was cancelled...

...and this time I am IBTL.

Inserted by Chemist: They cancelled the order when they called in asking about it, way before I posted this. I care about all my customers, just use some common sense. Would you like to hear about the guy who placed an order at 1:13am Sunday then called the store at 9am Sunday wanting to know why it hadn't shipped yet. It happens all the time.

This guy is too funny. Hope he didn't order anything from duck commander. I swear Si is actually running their shipping department. Lol what a gong show. Its the holidays.

I've dealt with SFRC before and been satisfied, but today I was very dissapointed. I placed an online order for a non-restricted firearm and I was supposed to receive it today. When I called to find out where my pacakge was it hadn't even been packaged or shipped.

!!!!DON'T PUT A DELIVERY DATE ON YOUR WEBSITE IF THATS NOT GOING TO BE THE DELIVERY DATE!!!! That is very misleading!

Secondly, the lady who answers the phone there has quite the attitude!

If you had the same attitude on the phone you seem to be projecting in your post, I'm surprised the lady on the phone didn't come right out and tell you to :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: off.

You ordered on BOXING DAY. There is no parcel pick up on BOXING DAY.

Some people really think the world revolves around them.

I wouldn't appreciate his "concern" either. Some "customers" aren't worth having.

If anyone has a particular beef with a firm, leave it to PM to get sorted out. Posting a rant on the forum, esp when the OP tends to be the unreasonable one in most cases I've seen, isn't productive.

I've ordered a few fire arms & ammo and they have always been reliable.

In this instance with the holidays and the blizzard, i think a little patience and common sence could have been in order.

Off to box up more parcels. They just took another 1/2 ton truck load to the post office and we'll be working in the store later tonight to get more packaged up. The second UPS truck should be arriving in the next few hours.
