But then again by the responses they got, I can tell the people here could care less about that remark. Anyways, not here to argue it just kind of stood out to me. The only way to make these type of people realize we are on their side is through real life interactions, no one is changing their mind over a forum post.

What does citing the charter prove about my statement? It is fundamentally flawed and says nothing about what you call "Canadian values". I'm not going to continue arguing with someone who advocates censorship. Your religion is not a race. I understand your beliefs are legally protected by the charter.
Oh god...words that injure....Islamophobia is fake...banning hate is like trying to stop the sun from rising. You can not ban emotions. You can educate on the shortcomings of racism or outright stupidity. But banning free speech from being critical of anything is ignorant. Just my opinion. Freedom is for EVERYONE...what canada really needs are rights on our individual liberties.

Thinking that Muslims don't belong in Western Canada isn't just an "opinion". It's plain hatred. If I lived in Western Canada I wouldn't feel safe knowing that I am not wanted there, let alone by my fellow gun owners. Would you? Try to put yourself in the other person's shoes before commenting smart ass.

Saying Muslims don't belong in Western Canada isn't being critical of Islam. You can criticize our religion, teachings, and practices all you want. You can also draw cartoons of our prophet, that's within your rights. Wish I cared. But the post quite literally says that we don't belong in Western Canada because we are scary lefties apparently.
I'm not stupid enough to advocate banning Islamophobia, or whatever. However it is covered under rule #9 on CGN, but I don't care that much. It is just a bad look coming from a business. I thought they would keep their personal opinions to themselves, at the very least. Do they really hate Islam so much that they want to turn away potential customers? Doubt it. I understand you cannot ban hate, but you can put it aside to be professional. That's why you shouldn't be rude to your coworkers at work for example. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Something called respect.
I highly doubt CGN mods would keep this thread up if it was ####ting on Christianity.

Agreed, IRG never hid that they have that mindset, obviously, this is put on CGN purposely knowing the reaction it will get. It quickly lured in similar mindsets and put in a wedge right in between them... It appears anybody that is not Christian won't be welcome if Western Canada separates; while I support separation, I'm not welcome... Well, they can all go and .... themselves as I'll be here to be part of it and what they believe in means nothing to me...
