DIY Induction annealer.

Simple and interesting. I assume that unit comes complete and you just made a mount? And, do you have a timer set up or are you eyeballing it?

From Amazon all I've changed on the unit is cutting the button and making the circuit always open. Power comes from a relay that can be timed to .01 Seconds. So all I need to do is turn the power on on the relay and it'll automatically heat for 3 seconds and off for 5 seconds. Letting me drop and refill brass.

I'm intrigued. How did you install the relay? If you could post detailed instructions that would be greatly apprectiated.

I want to build one of these and piss off a friend of mine that bought an AMP Annealer. He always has to buy the best money can buy and I prefer to go the less expensive route.

Hope this helps?

Extension cord gets cut open, one wire will be cut in half to tap into the relay allowing for the switch portion.

Relay gets power from a old phone charger. With a +/- splitter put into the old plug

It looks complicated but it really isnt
