I got an old 1930's double barrel and the action needed to be rejoined, I don't have a welder and I also don't have alot of patience, so I came up with a way to fix it with stuff that I had kicking around the top shelf of my tool box, so I gathered up some JB weld, duct tape, motor oil and some WD40. Here are the steps I took to make my shotgun tight again:

1.Mix up some JB weld 1:1
2.Remove the barrel from shotgun and put it in a vice (pictured)
Wrap duct tape around the areas you don't want JB weld (pictured)
3.Apply a generous amount of JB weld to the problem area, leave a sample of JB weld on the cardboard that you mixed it on for future use (pictured)
4.leave for 1 hour then peel the tape off once it's thick enough to stay put and not drip down the sides (pictured)
5.While you are waiting pour some motor oil on the mating surface of the action knuckle
6.leave for 3 more hours and feel the JB weld sample, you want it to still be tacky but when you hold your finger on it for 3 seconds no JB weld transfers to your finger.
7.Spray the #### out of the mating surface of the knuckle and spray a little bit on and around the JB weld
8.Put your gun together and work the action back and forth slowly until it latches
9.leave the foregrip off and peel off exess JB weld
10.Let dry overnight and lube it up in the morning
11. BOOM you are done, your action is tighter than a nuns c*** and your firearm is safe once again
