i have been reading about this option of pulling off the front of your scope and adjusting the parallax to a better range for rimfires
has anyone seen a video for this, before i attempt something like that i would like to see the operation first

is it hard to do on leupold scopes?

You simply back out the objective to adjust parralax exactly the same as an AO scope. You can only adjust parralax closer than factory setting, and never remove the objective lens housing. Once you break the seal on the o-ring the nitrogen will leak out leaving the scope prone to fogging. Just break the objective lens housing free by turning counter clockwise then back it out until parralax is adjusted to the distance you want. A flip cap will hold it in place. Adjusting from 100 to 50 yds will not cause the scope to leak, there is plenty of thread there to keep it sealed.

That is not true, I call leupold today and asked that exact question.
Leupold will not be doing that adjustment anymore, it is against their policy.
Do not send a leupold scope to korth group for parallax adj because they will not do it!
I was told to look to the rimfire model lineup!

Thus the reason to find a video

Just spoke to Tony at Korth last week. No problem to re-parallax centerfire scopes to rimfire specs. Most but not all centerfire are parallax free at 150 yards and rimfires are set at 50 yards.
It's only $20 bucks plus shipping to have this done.
Perhaps the confusion is with the AO scopes, Korth will not change the minimum setting as only Leupold USA has the equipment to do this. Some silhouette shooters down south have had Leupold change the minimum setting on a VX2 from 50 to 20 yards, however the maximum setting will only be slightly beyond 100yards as VX2 are not built the same way as an EFR. But for smallbore silhouette shooters, a VX2 6-18 with a 20-120 yard AO adjustment works fine.

there was absolutely no confusion with AO scopes. i asked directly about a VX 3 1.5-6, parallax to be changed to 50yrds. then about a used vx 2 i have!
verbal response, not email, was that leupold is no longer going to do these conversions
i was told if i sent a scope for that adjustment they'd send it back w/o modification, and i'd have to pay for shipping back

just saying! that was yesterday Dec 2nd

Can you confirm that tony will do this modification?
