Just wondering if it is feasable. I find myself becoming more and more of a trigger snob each day. Just curious how difficult a swap is by yourself with basic tools. Ruger 77 Mk II and Savage/stevens pre accutrigger rifles are my main candidates, what can you guys tell me?

Trigger swap for the Ruger MK-II is pretty easy. The first trigger I bought for my first rifle (Ruger MK-II), I paid someone to install it. Just recently I installed the same trigger in a friends Ruger MK-II. Easy as pie. Had to do a bit of filing to make the saftey work properly but if you're relatively mechanically inclined, its fairly obvious what needs to be done.

Only word of advice, dont remove too much material. Always easier to remove material that to put it back.

If you were in the Calgary area, I'd give you a hand with the Ruger trigger.
I replaced mine with a Timney and its a night and day difference.

Replacement triggers for the Savage / Stevens pre accu trigger are a straight drop in. There are at least two or three adjustments that have to be made, in a particular order to set up the sear engagement and safety. The instructions are clear, take your time and it can be easily done without prior experience. After you are done, test the safety and bump test the rifle before any live ammo practice.

Did a timney on a ruger M77 in about 20 min.

You may need to file part of the trigger (safety) a bit to make sure it works properly. All this is in the instructions that come with trigger.

I will do this to any future rugers I buy

Shoot me a PM. Can offer you lots of trigger options for both rifles.

They are an 'easy' install but care must be taken to ensure adequate sear engagement.

Instructions with these triggers are usually really good and the products very well made.
