Dlask +1 extention?

Well I ended up not getting the Dlask..I contacted them and they told me to use the factory spring and just 'stretch it"/ Their kit came with a red follower and the metal extension piece. For $10 bucks more I got a Wilson Combat extension, hiviz green follower and new spring from P&D. The wilson works fine. Although on the end of the HP9 tube there are 2 channel indents...all I did to make the new follower fit right was grind 2 small channels in the new green follower. Took 30 seconds and functions just fine. Less hassle then modifying the tube itself.
When it came time to remove the tube dents in my HP9-1 I was reluctant to drill I knew that trying to roll the dents out with a socket mandrel wasn't going to work 100% since the metal had been stretched. I compromised. I center punched dead center in the indents, and drilled a 1/8 inch hole, and then swaged the metal back with progressively larger sockets.
I like the Wilson, as the threads are fine enough to grab hold of the mag tube securely. Added comfort since there is nor ball detent in the Norc barrel.

Pete, what do you mean when the follower turns? I didnt think there was anywhere for it to go being as it was under pressure with the spring? I guess I am sort of puzzled as to why you need to drill them out? Or use a rotary grinder or whatever. Is keeping them in that much of a problem? Thanks for any advice

The follower can turn as the mag empties (firing).If they aren't removed properly, the follower may not go past them or may hang up on the return journey.
I drill them out on a drill press, polish off the burs and cold blue as required.
I've repaired guns that were swagged and Dremeled.

I got mine last fall and it came with a longer spring, aluminum follower, adjustable sling attachment and the extension. I haven't used it too much yet but it seems really good so far. The unit is locked down with an allen screw to keep the cap from loosening off, so it won't field strip as easily..that is the only downside I can find so far.
