Dlask 12.5 and 14" barrels slug performance?

DAC barrels run $299 plus tax and shipping. They are interchangeable for all 12 gauge 870s except the special field which has a shorter mag tube.

They "should." The tolerances on the 870 Express's are not consistent and might require tweaking (as was in my case).

FYI: The barrel dimensions were taken off a Wingmaster. I know Jo checks the fit to a few 870's in his shop.
 
Thanks BigUM but I'm set up to reload and have everything on the shelf to make up my own already.

Just need the time now...

I was able to get out to the range this last week and give the 14" barrel a try. I have to admit it is an extremely fast handling gun now and points great.

I have one problem though using either 2 3/4" or 3" slugs I am hitting about 10" to 12" inches high @ 25 yards. I tried jamming my cheek into the butt stock (not a suggested method of shooting slugs by the way) but just couldn't get the slugs to come down lower on the target.

Other than a taller front sight does anyone here have any ideas on how to get this barrel to shoot to point of aim?

How is that in comparison to the Remington reduced recoil slugs? :)
