Dlask 12.5 barrel, still good quality?

I'm looking at getting either an old wingmaster or a police 870 with wood stocks and the standard length mag tube. Unless my memory is failing am I correct that the 12.5 barrel fits pretty flush with the standard mag tube right?
Are Dlask barrels still good quality?
I'm thinking I'll add the ghost ring sights too.
Mainly want it for a bush gun so I think the 12.5 is a good balance between ease of carry and mag capacity.
Anyone got any pics of this set up?

Tolerances are tight. I have a couple Dlask's, and they are 2 tight on a couple of my Wingmasters, but ok on others. High quality machining is nice, but liberal tolerances are what you need for anything mass produced
