Thanks Dan. Yeah I got the SR-22 barrel and after measuring it looks like it's 12.5" with 0.5" being the threaded portion for a muzzle device. The website does say 12" though. Possibly a typo? I know in all my emails with Josef 12.5" was the number discussed. Good luck with your build!

Mine is the same, 12" barrel portion with .5" threaded - it's the perfect size for the stock SR22 handguard!
I too am going to buy the Troy MCG, our guns are pretty similar
The actual length is engraved on each barrel,
regardless of what the website sez.
If a 12.5" barrel of .920" diameter is too heavy, then

Ha looks good! Nice! That's a big-ass RDS canon you got there! I guess your rear sight folded down doesn't get in the way?
The Troy MCG is awesome but I decided to try some Magpul kool-aid. I just got a AFG2 (Blaxsun rocks!) and it's really comfy, though I switched out the finger groove insert for the smooth option.
Eventually I want to replace my SPARC with a variable optic. These crappy eyes of mine need some magnification.

Yeah the RDS is just a simple tasco from canadian tire - works well, is bright in daylight, but man is it ever big - I need to get a riser for it to cowitness with the irons up as currently it's too low and the irons have to be folded to view it properly. for $60 though, can't really complain
Deadly Accurate with the scope and barrel combo, lots of fun
They are very accurate! Try using a riser on your scope, it makes it a lot easier to see.
