My Norinco has been completely re-done by Dlask and I can tell you it is a shooter. If I was in the market for a custom 1911 Dlask would be my first pick.
Take Care

The Krauts don’t do that so easy about a foreigner in their country, especially when in their country at least two of their own giants make 1911’s (SIG and Walther).

Without any question... I would send them back.shortround said:Regretfully they must be keeping the good guns for the west coast . There are 2 out this way and both are "Problem Children" and spend more time in the safe thatn on the range ,or in the air being repaired .Again, and again and again..........

But it's a very different when it comes to his firearms, BOTH the AR and 1911 can be hit and miss. If it's a miss, I sure as heck wish you luck. A friend has had his AR back to Dlask 3-4 times already, each time he gets it back, it's slightly better but not 100% and he has to insist for it to be looked at seeing that 'it was correctly repaired the first time...'. He's been accused of 'tampering', 'playing gunsmith' and 'being incompetant in its use'. I am researching AR's as I'm planning on buying one and my buddy has advised me to steer clear of any Dlask firearm. YMMV..............
