Dlask 9 Inch GSG barrel impressions.

Well that is kind of not needed usually, when you buy new you expect to have it in new shape and dlask was thrusty so far with the number of barrel they made since forever,so you expect something made with quality.Manifacture-quality check flaw for sure ...

You must beging to hate the GSG-16 platform !

Well I'm getting way faster taking them apart lol

Here is a better photo. They're deep enough that the cases, form into the groove, and get real stuck.

Just call Dlask. Joseph will take care of your issue 100%. Great people at that shop.

Read post #10, #11 and #19, and this. Unless you got Joes direct phone number to bypass Leigh.

Told me my rifle ran fine, bull ####. So like I said, I doubt they are going to contact me to fix it, and I'm not sucking up to them.

What do the fired cases look like? Rings on them?

Yeah I get a bulge a few MM from the neck of the case.

If you wanted to try to fix it, you could plunge mill it flush, tap it, machine and insert with a clean chamber and refile the extractor groove.

It can be fixed.

Well the good news is. They decided to take pride in their quality. The gun is being shipped out and barrel to be inspected.

I'll be happy to have a working GSG again and this all water under the bridge.

I'm sure they will make it right. Even if there is a problem with you personally, I can't see them just leaving you with one of their products looking like that. Wouldn't reflect well on them at all.

The new proof of age requirement is BS. My GSG been sitting for a week at the Delta BC Post office, waiting for Dlask to pick it up.

*YAY it was delivered*

Finally brought the GSG16 to the range with the new Dlask 9" barrel.
Absolutely incredible! Better balanced, better feel, shoots great and easily hitting pop cans at 75m using my Sig Romeo5 red dot.

Incredible how much nicer the GSG16 feels without the big fake silencer upfront.

Ammo used was Winchester X and CCI Mini Mag. 300 rounds and no issues

Sorry to hear you had bad experience. Met Joseph at a Calgary Gun Shop he was great to speak with. Leigh also was patient with my million questions on my 9" Dlask barrel.

They installed the barrel and my GSG ran like a champ! Eat bags of mixed old .22 ammo with no issues. After so many rounds I guess I should clean it.

The GSG 16 and my SBR 10/22 were the favs, but the drum and larger magazines pushed everyone who was plinking the paddles to the GSG16. Glad it worked out for you, at the end of the day Dlask backed their product and service.

My son having fun with the SBRs.

Problem fixed. Got a replacement barrel. Took it to the range today was 99% reliable with Herters 22LR, and 100% reliable with 2 other brands ( CCI mini mags, and CCI subsonic HP )
