Ambi mag release? I've been asking about that for months and can't find it anywhere. It's not on your website and I even left a comment on a thread about them which you were on, asking about their return with no response. Will they ever make it back into production? I may be getting on from another member here but if it doesn't happen, it would be nice to have another option. I'd like to keep my $ in Canada, but Zahal seems to be the only company right now that has that style of mag release in production.

I ordered one from Dlask last night. Once it gets in and I instal it I'll try to run through it's paces and see what happens. Like a previous poster I've been waiting for a NEA ambi release (I'm a lefty and need it) but they never seem to pop up. Market competion always brings out the best products so either way, congrats to both companies!

Any way it has been noted on this web site a few times that the NEA ambi mag release may need to be modified to work & not only with bolt release's either. But it wasn't only me stating this fact and of course you would never believe me but for the other's reading this post and want to conduct a fair and un-bais statement from other CGNer's well here ya go;

Sorry been real busy and will do this weekend. Got the guy's at Dlask installing another barrel for me on yet another 858 project that I was going to use this part on.

You saying you have no affiliation with BC Tactical.. I was told differently by a BC Tac dealer.. I suppose they may have been misinformed. My mistake.
That's an issue with the CSA Receiver, not our part. I've been told that has been corrected.
Good news.. they'll be back in stock later this week.

I wish maybe I wouldn't have to paint for a living! Hell I guess the same guy must also have told you that I work for Dlask too cause I posted thread's about there products &/or work that they due for me that I like. Also why do you always bring that company up all the time & even in threads that have nothing to do with them or you???
Also I am glad that you did correct the issue of the ambi-mag release that your company produced. Also I am glad that your company is starting to produce stuff for the 858 again cause I have been waiting for ever since febuary for that company that I suposely work for to make some more handguard set for this Dlask build but who knows maybe I will just pick up Joe's cause they a preaty nice too.

Does it come straight out the bottom (ie at the back of the mag) or does it come out the side. I have a dlask mag release that comes out the side and i dont like it, its awkward to grab onto the mag but not wrap your whole hand around it and awkwardly push on the side release with your thumb. i prefer the ak style that pokes straight out the bottom of the trigger guard allowing you to wrap your hand on the mag better.
It does both.
It comes down the middle of the mag and clear's the bottom of the trigger guard by like an inch and it also has a tab on the side for those who are lefties and like the tab. I can also depress the mag release with my index finger while gripping the gun but I feel more Russian when I slap chop it out
Joe isn't short on business. Why would he pay though the nose to be on here?

Also here are some picture's to help better discribe what I was trying to say.
At first I did not like the line down the middle of the mag release but the more and more I use I now know why they placed it there. Not only does it allow me to work the release with my trigger finger but it also gives me a referance point of were to push. Also the added bonus is that your trigger finger is far away from the trigger witch is a good thing!
Got nothing but great things to say about this product!
