Dlask AR15 barrels....any good?

I've been considering buying a 14.5" 1/9 barrel from Dlask. Price looks good at just under 200 bucks but I don't know a thing about them.

Any insight? How are they at throwing anything heavier than 55gr? Good, bad, buy, avoid?

It is a barrel meant to contain thousands of pounds of pressure with you face and hands nearby. Instead of price why aren't the first questions out of people mouths.

Where was it made?
What tests have proven the barrel and by whom?
What are the chamber dimensions?
What steel was used to make the barrel?

I don't think he's trying to be an ass to you.

He has experience with Dlask products, and is trying to steer you in a 'quality' direction rather than be dictated by price. Price is only part of the equation (or SHOULD be).

Also, maybe you should ask Dlask those questions directly. I'm not sure they would be able to answer all of them (or might choose not to).

I would contact Walter at ArmsEast and get a mil-spec 14.5" barrel if I were you...I wouldn't cheap out on a barrel.

Wow, and here I thought I was offering a template for the purchase of a quality barrel at any price. I even had my ass button in the off position.
