Dlask Arm good or not.........

I just want to know your opinion on Dlask Arm AR-15 lower and upper receiver.

Thanks

I like mine very much thank you. Fit and finish is very good.
Nice even anodizing on both the upper and lower. Machining is top notch.
Upper/lower is tight.

Do a search on DAR 701 and you can see pictures of my latest.

I think that they are fine. I also like the support since I am local to the shop.
I also like anything thats actually made in Canada too :canadaFlag:

If you search through different threads you'll see that a lot like them and quite a few don't. I have a complete Dlask built rifle, and love it to death. When I first bought it (slightly used) I kept having problems with it stovepiping spent casings out the ejection port. After a while I called Dlask and told them the issue. His first words were "Ship it to us as soon as possible and we'll get it taken care of." Within two weeks I had the rifle back in my hands and it works perfect now. I am very impressed with both the rifle and the company. For a company to take care of a customer, with a used rifle no less, and fix the problem free of charge (it was a manufacturers defect), I could not have been happier. I will recommend Dlask to anybody, and will buy again from them as soon as the bank account gives the Okay! Great rifle and great customer service.:canadaFlag:

I've had two Dlask lowers, three uppers, and a complete Dlask built mini moose.

My current AR build is mostly Dlask, and it is the best one I've done so far of about three dozen.

The only issues I can personally speak to were with the older Mini moose ...
way back when, Dlask used powder coating instead of anodising, and this made some pin holes tight.

PS: I like the made in Canada factor.

I have a Dlask upper (part of an AR I have in the EE for sale). It has been absolutely flawless and is top quality. I understand that some earlier products may have been a bit "buggy".

I have asked this question myself from time to time and I always get strange responses.

My impression is that Dlasks from 5 years ago were not reliable, but that they have improved substantially.

I am told that the barrels are from Model 1 Sales. That company has kind of a sketchy reputation, but it happens that the positive reviews I have read about M1S have been about their barrels, so might not be an issue.

I am definitely hoping that they keep on building and more get out there so we can have a better idea of how good they are, and people will either know to avoid them, or know they are worth having.

It's interesting that Laz2000 likes them...he used to be a gunsmith and I would guess a thumbs-up from him is worth something (provided he wasn't employed by Dlask of course!)

Dlask is a great Company to deal with and get parts from. I have a 10.5" from them that I'm very happy with. and they are Canadian so less BS when getting parts from them.

NO, I am NOT employed by DLASK.

My opinions are based on my PERSONAL experience,
and of course,
as with any other opinions you get for free on the internet,
they may be worth much less than you paid for them
and
YPMMV!

Love mine (that's an Olympic barrel) although haven't had much luck with reloads yet.

I have two very good lowers. I have another on order as I type.

I have had quite good service too. No need to hesitate.
