Dlask Arms Rem 870 Shorties Thread

For me it’s the customizability of the 870 platform. The amount of aftermarket out there is great, plus it’s a way smoother and less clunky gun to run. No hate on the KSG, but that’s why I’d probably take an 870

I've had the KSG. My issue with it is the complexity and awkwardness of the design. Yes it can start out with a lot more ammo, but feeding an 870 is easier on the fly. The KSG is also really heavy when loaded up, AND has a lot of protrusions that catch on clothing. No hate on the KSG, it's a neat platform.

As a necessity I have to carry a shotty with me when I'm outside. Fires wiped out a ton of habitat in my area, and it will take time for the Toms and bears to re-adjust, and that's a problem. Anyway, a short 12 on a sling with a side saddle is absolutely ideal. One shot as a warning, and 4 more as backup in case the animal doesn't take off. Light and convenient.

I'll take the KSG if I'm ever attacked by Russian assassins who killed my dog or something, but for trails, gimme the smallest legal shotgun possible.

Agreed, but now you are talking about this, not a shorty Dlask with 3 rounds on-board for your wilderness defence....

Lookin good.... whats the dot?

Holosun 507 Red, muliti-retlcle. The 870 Police Magnum also features a 6-shell Mesa Tactical Sidesaddle/Picatinny Rail system mounted on the Receiver, for good measure. That's 2 x 5-round reloads on the gun....
