If Colt wants to make configs for civvy purchase, Colts would be available in Canada.

As it stands, CMT/Stag Arms have been building everything but the barrel under license for Colt since 1973. So if you want the same spec parts, with the rollmark from the subcontractor rather that the primary contractor, AND assembled and inspected with love and care in CANADA, drop us a line! :)

Wait, you already did! :D

Fear the Deer baby!

is the Norinco M4 going to be built to the same tolerances and quality standards as an american manufactured one? I recall speaking to someone from Lever arms that said they would bringing in some, around this time. He said the price would be $850-900. I hope i didnt break any rules by talking about a company that isnt a cgn sponsor.

I meant that there are many restrictions on US made parts and mil-spec gear / optics / lasers/ folding M4 type stocks etc. They have limited the exports even on sporting rifles and this is a re-curring issue that I hear from many Canadian retailers. Im sure that many of us will welcome a Chinese made knock off for recreational purposes. The Chinese can copy anything. anything. :D they make everything else ....

My point was that the Dlask lowers are available and are good. CANADIAN made lowers are a nice thing. CANADIAN made anything is a good thing :canadaFlag::ar15:

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the DAR701 lowers. But the AR15 isnt anything as good as the Swiss Arms :D ... as far as 9mm Dlasks ... buy a Brugger & Thommet TP9

I'm looking at a Dlask 11.5" upper, anyone have any experiences? (I have been told to make sure I ask for taper pins in the gas block).

There is no way that those magazines would function in anything other than the 9mm pistol. Kind of the same situation as his pump action rifle, the 30 round magazines for it will not work in anything else.

Hahn does make an AR15 magwell adapter for unmodified Sten mags.

Designed for the Mil Spec AR-15 receiver to convert it to accept plentiful and inexpensive 9mm Sten magazines. Drops into top of receiver and it is virtually impossible for it to fall out even if magazine button is accidentally pressed. No modification to magazines necessary.

Pardon the highjack. :)

Are Sten mags allowed 10 rounds in Canada? Just asking. :)

Sorry but modifying an existing mag [IE:Rifle or smg] to fit another application still means it can only have 5 RDS maxium capicty there for it is a prohibited device. The only way to get 10 rnd mags for this application is to have them newly manufactured as a 10 rnd magazine not modifying an existing magazine
