Dlask barrels

So i ordered two barrels from dlask the 8inch carbon fibre with there supposed sporter chamber but they appear to be some kind if match chamber as they have turned the rifles into jamming pieces of junk. Problem js j ordered the barrels like 9months ago and was admitted to hospital and only had a chance to install the one a couple weeks ago entries kidd bolts dlask modified bolts factory bolts you name it noting works i uploaded a pic Barrel on left has never been fired now i can push them all the way in but then they need to be pryed out a y ideas on how to repair these as dlask is no more apparently IMG_3487.jpeg
 
What ammo? Can always have a smith clean em up with a different spec ie “normal” 22 lr reamer.

FYI Dlask doesn’t and didn’t “make” barrels
They used green mountain blanks which are considerably cheaper than what you paid

Look at NINE35, bots and pieces and other Canadian dealers for reasonably price mid barrels

Kidd and Volquartsen both used walther blanks last time I checked

Zero love lost on Dlask disappearing

B. No go there they want me to ship the two barrels to them and pay out of pocket to maybe have the too short of camber fixed or maybe fixed i dont trust smiths i dont know which is why i do 99% of my own repairs

Its not that i wont let someone else fix them iam worried there gonna #### them up even more ive never heard of adventure arms for all i know they could be a bunch of bloody crack heads. And on dlask arms website it clearly states deal with our PARTNERS advent arms. Being a partner they ahould damn well honour warranty And as for the cause of me loseing a leg not that its anyone’s business but i was hit by a buddy on a skidoo while he was drunk as all hell and my leg got caught up in the independent front suspension and i got draged about half a mile with a leg just hanging from a thread below the knee but would you not know it. Its all my fault he was xharges with impaired loat his liscence and his job. It sucks as his insurance is null and void due to being impaired
 
I figured you for some slob diabetic so I do apologize a bit. If you can't do it yourself you may have to have some faith in those that can or accept the loss. It sucks that Dlask closed up but it is what it is. Bentz chambers won't loosen up in your lifetime. It will need to be machined.

About 12 diffrent types spencer advised me to try Remington thunderbolts which as far as iam concerned is quite possibly the absolute worst rimfire ammo ive ever had the displeasure of using which is why i question his knowledge ir mentality for that matter. Which once again is why i do 99% of my own work as i know iam competent so i guess iam investing more money to once again repair crappy canadian firearm products. So a anyone have a sammi spec .22lr chambering finishing reamer they would rent me or a canadian source for such an animal

For the record iam diabetic but far from a slob i was a solid 5 foot 11 inches 180 pounds un high school working on the farm. Well guess what iam still 180 lbs and iam well into my 50s so far from a slob. It was just shy of 1000 yards (500 yards each way)from my hospital room to the tim hortons at front of hospital i walked that no less than 5 times a day and thats like 2 weeks after getting the chucnk if metal i now call a leg they could not beleive it and thats on top of my three hrs a day of therapy. So ya iam far from a diabetic slob hell eeven with the leg iam probably still a better bush man than half the wanna bes here on gunnutz lmfao
 
^sprry don’t have a reamer for you or a source. More than a few competent smiths in Canada would be able to help you out, without a ridiculous timeline or cost

Who they are idk as my luck with them hasn’t been the best

There s a reamer exchange thread on here by Ardent

Sucks having to pay twice to make something usable, the cost to reame the the barrels you bought makes sense. there’s a reason Dlask folded up shop.

Westicle was a diabetic and he had a medal of bravery. Sooo.
 
Like it or not if you want these fixed to your spec you're going to have to spend some money end of story, nobody is going to drop out of the sky to do it for you. Sorry but that's just the way it is.
 
You may find someone to trade with that has a sporter chamber

Try some Federal blue box bulk ammo
see if that fits them any better

Not what you want but they would work fine for 22 shorts
 
It pains me that others have also been ripped off by Dlask peddling their junk bin scavangings. I'm actually glad their closed, something I never thought I'd say about a gun store, but there it is. At least he can do no more harm.

Once upon a time they were great. It is painful to see them close and pawn off inferior products to loyal customers.
