I recently purchased a Dlask DAR-22 with Kidd internals (2 stage trigger, countersunk pins, bolt & charging handle) and 18" Green Mountain bull barrel on the EE. The previous owner claimed that it has only seen 25 rounds, and the condition certainly seems to confirm that. The new rifle is shown at the top of the following photo, above my existing 12.5" Dlask.
I intend to raid the new rifle for parts and sell the rest. The main issue for me to decide is: do I keep the receiver with the 12.5" X-treme barrel or the 18" GM barrel? I intend to do some testing and keep which ever is more accurate and sell the other. The winner will be my Bench Rest rifle and wear the Sightron scope. Anyone want to guess which will win? I am not sure what to expect. If there is no clear winner I intend to keep the 12.5" but I am definitely keeping both stocks. I think the thumbhole stock will work better for correct scope eye relief - I don't like the contour of the top of the cheek rest on the lower stoke in combination with the Sightron scope.
