Tony... it probably has the sporter chamber, which feeds and extracts anything... the Match/Xtreme chamber has a tough time with some ammo... Velocitors and Stingers are both out... I habe good function and accuracy with CCI SV's and Federal Match.

Took it to the range today and am very impressed with function and accuracy. Shot Federal 714 and Eley Target ammo through it for a total of approx 150 round and expected problems with FTE as they are both standard velocity. Experienced zero problems with feeding and ejection and also had some very small five shot groups around one inch at 75 yards. The scope fitted is a Nikon Carbine 3x magnification and I was surprised at how clearly I could see the target. All in all, I am 110% happy with the purchase. Have had three Ruger 10/22 target models and rate the Dlask as a class above those. Tony

Dlask only makes sporter chambers now, the target chambers are discontinued.
What accuracy are you getting with the sporter chamber compared to the Kidd barrel ?
My 8" Xtreme was a PITA with most ammo I tried.Some empty cases were jammed in the chamber so tight I had to take them out with my knife.I sent it back to Dlask and had it rechambered to Sporter,functions 100% now and super accurate with CCI Mini-mags.
I was going to ask about ammo and the target barrels, but if they don't make them then it's moot.
Any advantage of their barrel nut system over the V-block?
I was thinking of buying a barrelled action and stock and using the guts out of my 30yo 10-22 carbine to complete it, as it already has some upgrades in it.

Emailed Dlask. They say the Sporter is a Bentz chamber. The older xtreme/target chambers was a custom reamer they used. They discontinued them because many had difficulty to eject and extract live and spent rounds.

The sporter chamber shoots very well with most ammo specifically cci standard, eley ,federal target. Have had 1/2” groups @50 yards when I’m doing my part. The kidd barrel rifle shrinks my groups by about 1/8- 1/4”. The extra weight and length probably has something to do with that.
