Well after a bit of a wait and a lot of indeciseveness on my part, here is my new Delta. Josef was really patient with me throughout the process and overall I'm really happy with the outcome. There is a whole long list of things that were done but instead I'll just post a before picture. When I got this gun from Armco it had already been worked over by Dlask but there was just more that I wanted done to it. I'll see if I can get some more pictures later.

Sorry this ones definitely a keeper. I can't believe I'm almost thinking of selling my Valtro. This just puts it to shame though. I just wish I was a better photographer because these pictures don't really do it justice. I think I'll try to take some more tonight.

Now that looks awsome !

Now that's precision for ya. I'll pay my STI and then one day Dlask will make me a puppy like that !

Is there's a functional reason for serating the back end of the slide? Or is it just for cosmetics? I've seen this modification on several guns but could never understand the purpose.

I would think to diffuse any glare that might affect your sight picture...right?
They do similar things with optics like telescopes, and binoculars.
Place a stack of those one sided razor blades together, and you will see the result is that light almost disapears. That would be better with deeper gooving.

So here's a few more pics. And Cocked and Locked you'll be the first to know if I do go through with selling the Valtro. I better wait til the infatuation with this one where's off before I jump to any irrational decisions.

Here you go...

His name is Bob Mernickle and you can find him @ http://www.mernickleholsters.com/

I'm leaving in the morning for Fort Nelson...

For the job you are doing I couldn't recommend a better gun/cartridge combo then the SRH in 454 Casull especially the Armco shortened one...

I guess that's why I have them... :D

Ya the mag release isn't the prettiest, I thought about switching it out but after a few range sessions I've really grown to like it, it makes for really fast mag changes.
