Got my bcg in the mail friday. Went with the phosphate finished one. Was surprised at the fast ship time. It looks good but then I am a newbie AR guy...

I was told its milspec when I asked IceArms, comparable to other NiB BCGs

I recieved my complete BCG on Tuesday..... I ordered 2 weeks ago (APR 6th, after seeing this thread). I also ordered mags as the $18 price tag was too low to say no.....

I thought so too.....

I'm going to stake it properly. But I thought pic of the staking job from the supplier was warrented.....

It's ordered it to sit in a kit as a back-up, but I may swap it out with the DPMS BCG that I currently have in one of my rifles and use that as the spare instead.....

I received one of the NiB BCG's today. It is a well made piece and good value for today's market conditions. Having looked at it closely though, I had expected to see a little more metal displaced in the staking. It's quite comparable to the pictures posted above.

Mine wasn't staked at all (a phosphate BCG), hence the reason I asked earlier. Not a big deal as I have a staking tool...

I agree it's not a big deal, but it does remind me of another Canadian manufacturer and when ordering one of these I hoped we only had one Co. of that calibre...

It IS a big deal.

I agree, if it is sold as a complete BCG, I would expect it would be properly staked.
