Dlask FA BCG NiB

Do you work for him? If not why defend his business?

I do not understand nor do I have any sympathy for businesses who do not know how to operate on the internet.

I don't work for him but I've dealt with both Ice arms and Dlask arms. I've never had bad service and if something happens that's not in their control they explain it sometimes things don't always go smoothly like ordering a barrel blank for a rifle I wanted a longer barrel on no one made it Dlask ordered it got the wrong parts (not his fault) he got the wrong blanks 3 times he even showed me the order and the wrong barrel blanks he was surprised he company screwed up 3 times but they did. That's the way it goes in the gun industry mistakes are made it takes time to get things they can't make them fast enough for the demand people complain and complain. I saw 1 person in a gun store haggle over a SKS and a crate of ammo. He said Well I'm buying a crate of ammo and a SKS can't I get a deal they even showed him the numbers showed him the cost and said see I don't even make 20 bucks off it the person still wanted a deal because he was just really cheap. They gave it to him just so he would go away basically

Now here is the thing Ice arms and Dlask aren't the same company. They're run seaperatly.

I got my refund, but not the Full amount went back to my CC since Ice charged my CC in $U.S,the refund was also in U.S. however there is a foreign currency conversion fee. A discrepancy of $12.00. Emiled Richard 10 days ago,no response and I think there will be no response to come. No more Dlask,Ice and Zombie transaction in the future.

You are lucky, I've been trying for not quite two weeks to cancel my order. I too am expecting a loss in the exchange conversion, IF I ever get a refund!

I think he is in the US right now so it's not easy to do somethings or they just forgot try a phone call?

I find Joe does good work has a reasonable turn around time sometimes he is busy so it takes a while that's just how it goes. I find allot of people that like AR 15 rifles like to complain about every little detail on everything it's to expensive, it has a tiny blemish, I had to custom fit it, its to tight, it's to loose. I screwed something up and some how its someone else's fault. I know a few manfactures that do warrenty work and 90 percent are the customer modified it and screwed it up.

I'm the last guy in the world to complain about a blemished gun.
When I buy a drop-in part I expect it to drop in.
Others on the forum had issues that I did not want to have, so I cancelled my pre-order, and purchased what I needed from a reliable manufacturer. Dropped a Stag bcg in, and it works.

I feel wronged as their website advertises that items not shipped out will be refunded immediately.
It has been 2 weeks and no refund or response.
That is not immediate, and others wondering if they should do business with this retailer should know how they actually do business.

Ice arms warranty......

It's been 3 business days, and I haven't heard a blessed thing...... Phone call, text message and an email......

http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...le-a-bit-of-quot-FACK-quot-today-at-the-range

To be honest, if i had known that ICE would be run with the same speed and customer service as Dlask, i would have stayed away..... I have tried on 4 different occasions, to purchase custom ish stuff from Dlask. 2 times they told me they had what I was looking for, then didn't respond to emails. The other 2 times emails exchanged back and forth several times and then all communication stopped from their end......

On a positive note, their $18 mags work well......

My brother ordered a Dlask carbine a few years ago and i know he had issues on getting service/warranty work done on it. These were CQ issues that the gun shipped with. After 6 weeks and an incredible headache the rifle was fixed. I swore i'd never deal with Dlask after what my brother went through.

I have to say that it really concerns me when a bussiness changes its name when it's the same owner or owners over a period of several years. Seems kinda fly by night like. Turns me off from doing bussiness with them and hearing about all these issues certainly isn't encouraging.

Its not the same company he just is a partner in it meaning it's run by someone else.

When your username is Dlask Arms Corp operating under Dead Zombies now changed to Ice it raises a lot of questions about who's representing who and what.

Who's on the hook for warranties if one flops on the other? Entire thing seems awfully sketchy.

When I received my BCG I was under the impression a drop in part was exactly that however it didn't fit. Several CGNers said to hone out the gas tube and it should be fine but I didn't want to F*** my chances of returning it for a refund so I called Richard @ ICE ARMS on his service line, I found him confrontational at first but he finally relaxed and referred me to Joe @ Dlask for service issues.

I met Joe @ Dlask and he was both concerned and committed to making it right, after honing out the tube and firing 5 shots my rifle would not cycle and I had to leave it for him to run a few test. I showed him how inconsistent the NIB plating was and the finishing was quite poor compared to any BCG, to state the obvious no QC was done.

I will be meeting with him this week and if it doesn't work I will be picking up one of the NIB BCGs they have coming for the US, maybe I'm just glutton for punishment.

I would mail it back and contact credit card company to reverse the charges.

Referring to another thread where Dlask gets ticked off at all the questions about the product..... this is why we ask all the questions lol

just call the credit card and explain what happend. That will get the credit card company on there ass. if they get enough complaints they will be dropped from them. That will hurt business.

I tried that already. Apparently they have to wait 30 days. Sees ridiculous and I just hope icearms doesn't file for bankruptcy before 2 more weeks is up...

Why is there never an answer at the number they list on their site. I was charged in US funds as well, yet no confirmation email or nothing. Is there anyway to get in touch with anyone who works there?
I wish I had seen this thread before I ordered a BCG from these guys.

Apparently the fella who carries the phone (it's a cell) is in the states right now.

He is having service provider difficulties.....

He is expected back next week.

I am currently involved in a warranty claim with them and this is the info I received today......

As far as the USD issue goes. I called my CC and explained that it wasn't USD and they refunded the difference....... It took les than 5 min on the phone and done!

In interest of full disclosure I called Dlask and got 'satisfaction' that way.......

WTF is wrong with Canadian manufacturers ? When it's not NEA or Blue line it's DLASK. I feel like I can't buy local without using a Dremel. Maybe Norinco is not that bad after all...
Can we just craft our parts as good the Americans ?
