Dlask Mini Moose

I have had two Dlask Mini Moose's. I have been very happy with the quality of both and I would buy from Dlask without a second thought.
I only ever had one problem and that was when I ordered a product from the website it arrived different then shown in the picture... significatly different.
If you have any questions PM me. I currently own 5 Dlask products (2 AR's, 2 1911 and a lower)

It is as accurate as my 10.5". I think I am shooting a 2" group at 50 yards, not great but I'm not a great shooter either. If you did your part maybe 1.5", maybe better

I may actually post my mini moose on the EE in a couple days, 60 rounds through her.

Im looking to pick up an AR, anyone have any thoughts on this? Or Dlask for that matter? I tried searching the mini moose here but no luck. Im new to the world of AR's, but from what I've read on here they sound like a good manufacturer and I like the fact that I'd be buying Canadian.

Thanks,

Paul

Mine was an early version the rails were not in spec, the upper was originally a carry handle upper they cut down instead of just using a proper flat top,the flkash hider was threaded to a different speck and the barrel had some sort of half assed sleeve over it to cover up the original gas block taper pin grooves, and lastly like all Dlask lowers I own the magwell are not to spec. Overall a fun little gun but could have been better had Dlask bothered with the small details espescially at the price of it.

I'm just thinking about the Upper - I've got a nice Armalite lower that's currently holding up a Chinese M4 upper (I really don't like ambi controls on an AR) :D

I think the magwell issue was due to the original lowers being cast. It came up in a thread some time ago. Newer lowers are forged.

The new lowers are forged but they are tight. I have 6 different 30/5 and 20/5 magazines that have a rivet to pin them. 4 out of the 6 fit, the other two the rivets prevent the magazine from fitting into the magwell. The two that don't fit have a larger head on the rivet.

I have zero problems with LAR magazines and internally pinned mags.
