Dlask or Green Mountain barrel?

Out of the two, dlask is Canadian and a ok guy to deal with. Jerry also is a good guy at mystic.
Everything knows I like my tactical solutions barrels.

I have purchased thus far two aftermarket barrels, both were carbine contour barrels with the bentz chamber and both were green mountain. if I concentrate with HP mini-mags and open sights I can shoot a 10 shot group that can be covered by a nickel. this is at 25 to 30 yards. they make a good barrel!
 
i shoot a Dlask and my dad has a GM on his.
i see no difference in them (other then the fact that his is stainless)
if i had to choose id use the desired length and price as my deciding factors.
 
I have used dozens of barrels from pretty much every major manufacturer and some not so major ones too... GM makes a good barrel, IMO Dlask makes a better barrel and stands by his product with excellent service... if he has the length and contour that you desire, I would go with Dlask.
 
I read on the Dlask website that they use Green Mountain barrel blanks:

"The barrels start as Green Mountain .22 lr blanks which are cut and turned to each customers desired length and barrel profile."

My experience doesn't go as deep as yours. And 99% of all my rimfire shooting is done at 50 yds.
I've owned 5 GM barrels in various configurations---------still have them.
I've owned 3 dlask barrels--------don't have any of them.
 
Thanks for the replies ;) The Green Mountain sporter barrels comes with a sporter chamber or Bentz? They will shoot all ammo (bulk) reliably including CCI?
 
Most 22s like cci. However if you want an honest person. My gun might love bulk ammo, the same gun my friend shoots might not.
It all depends on your luck.

Shilen make an excellent barrel... I have also used Volquartsen, Kidd, E.R.Shaw, GM, Rimfire Tech, Whistle Pig, Tac Sol, Mossberg (project runs), Dlask, and others...

I decided early on that IME sleeved aluminum barrels are not for me... if weight is your only concern they might be right for you... but they just don't perform at the level of carbon or stainless barrel (IME).

the sporter contour GM barrels come with the Bentz chamber, so no stingers. but any quality rimfire ammo has been flawless with federal bulk being second only mini-mag hollow-points.
