I have a Dlask CQB.

Observations are: Lower quality is the same as my RRA lowers I have owned. Upper of my CQB is keyhole marked (Cerro Forge) either they bought a mold from them, or it is a bulk purchased milspec upper. Finish is excellent, like all other milspec manufacturors like LMT and RRA.

Great guns, great price and Canadian.

You can't go wrong here.

My opinion, for the money buy a Stagarms from Arms East or RRA from Questar. Both sponsors on this site, and both great companys to deal with.

Although I have not seen or handled a Dlask AR, I do believe in supporting the Canadian economy.

The OP asked for opinions on the Dlask, not what you believe he should buy.

If there is a rifle you like and it is Canadian made, keep your money within Canadian Borders!!!

Best part of my Canadian made CNC machined lower is the maple leaf. :canadaFlag: made by Canadians .. what a novel idea ... But YMMV ...

maybe if I lived in the US I would want a US made rifle.
IMHO the lower is great, regardless of what US milspec upper you toss on it ...

theres also an Alberta made lower too ...

Also check out Blueline at the top of the page (who you can hotlink to ;) ) as their AR's are made by Dlask.

ETA: I think you'll see Dlask back away from retailling direct to market, it's not what they do best, the quality of the product is good (at this time - there have been issues) but they really aren't set up for retail. Perhaps that's where Blueline comes in.

I used to try to contact Dlark but they didn't reply my email. So I turned to P & D Enterprises where their communication and service are excellent. Finally I've got my Remington R-15 VTR from them, very good rifle. It's just my own experience.

i have talked to dlask and got his lower . after trying to buy a 16 barrel from others he had them in stock so igot one. his lower goes good with my stagarms upper. but if i had a chioce i would of bought a colt. also i could not afford to buy complete rifle. it took me one year to build my AR.

Got to agree. I had a chance do drop by, and you guys may find this hard to believe, but they are a small operation! They are probably fully occupied just trying to keep up with production, let alone shipping out goods to individuals (retail). However the quality of their products looked pretty nice last week when i dropped by.

As for communication, i didn't have any issues getting a hold of them by email, and if you call early enough, phone shouldn't be an issue either.
