Dlask Tuf 22 Dimensions for HC Mag

It's 0.840 from the bottom of the barrel to the top of the notch. A tube mic helps. (worked for me - file to get the depth, dremel to get the sides to the right width.)
 
Hey everyone, I have a question about the TUF-22 magazines. If I modify my Ruger 10/22 receiver myself to accept them, could I get into any legal trouble? Also, are these magazines fully legal to own and use in Canada, considering most 10/22 magazines are limited to 10 rounds?

Rimfire (like pumps and bolts) do not have magazine capacity limits.

This sometimes gets muddled by the fact that some magazines can be used in pistols (like the 10/22), and our overlords deemed that if this is the case then the mags must be limited to 10 rounds.

Out of the box a TUF 25 round mag cannot fit in a Charger pistol owing to the extra tab blocking it so no issues.

There are several reputable companies offering to mod your 10/22 receiver to accept TUF full capacity magazines, fairly sure they would not be doing so if this were illegal. SBI also offer their receivers with the notch cut out to accept TUF mags as standard (as do others).
