Dlask XB3 and XB4 Flash Hiders

I look into getting 1.

I'm not happy with my original post, so I learned how to take screen shots off iMovie. Below is a photo of the worst flash captured from each muzzle device..

No Muzzle attachment.:dancingbanana: Huge secondary flash!

Dlask XB3; All you can see is very slight muzzle glow, which is impossible to eliminate, unless you fire the rifle on the peak of Mount Everest or in a vacuum.

Dlask XB4; Slight intermediate flash, which indicates near complete elimination of internal shock boundaries.

^^^Ha, Tuco! The Good, The Bad and The Ugly! :D

This is all time favorite movie scene, ever. The cinematography, the music, the actors.....it's perfect.

How much do the XB3/XB4's weigh compared to the NEA? Im currently using the NEA and it really makes the gun seem front heavy on my 18.5". I dig that the XB's are shorter and offer better flash suppression as well.

Cheers

Great post and even better info guys. Thanks.

Satain, how does the teflon tape hold up to the heat? I was considering putting on a washer to take up the slack, like in a thread posted in the last couple of weeks.

Supernova, how do you like the Crusader? I just got one for my NR but haven't tried it yet? Is it overkill for the NR length? Should I just get one of the slant/AK style breaks?

Thanks in advance boys!

Ive had both but I cant decide which one I prefer. I'd call the crusader overkill but in a good way. Nearly no recoil or muzzle flip but it is very very loud. Its also quite big and adds noticeable weight to the muzzle. The AKM provides excellent compensation but no recoil reduction which I like. With the crusader, shooting would get boring after a while. The AKM is the smallest and lightest and does its job well.

I ordered the xb3 for a CZ858 as per Satain's recommendation. Still have to get the rifle to test it out :).
