I cannot claim to have found this, but I am reposting from another forum.

Looks interesting. An importer better get one in for FRT testing ASAP. We might even see these in a few years, if we're still allowed semi's by then.

Could be DMR M10x killer.

Hell ya looks interesting but they call it to be a modern AK rifle, which still uses the same action/parts as an AK.

Can't see this happeNing (as much as I really would love to have one)

It is a totally different receiver. That seems to count for something in classification these days. Look at the SLR and MV getting an NR classification and they use standard off the shelf AR parts.

It looks pretty sweet!

I like this one just wish the charging handle could be switched to the right side aswell, trying to keep it around $1000 US should make it more affordable for the canadian masses once and if approved for canada

Let's pre-order even before it gets classified! Just kidding. I don't do pre-orders. Special orders, yes. But it does look like a sweet gun! I'd love to have something similar to the RK62 that I used in Finland. Btw, it's Finland's 100th independence day today. Random thought.

It looks alright, needs a longer handguard though, especially if it had a 18.6" Canadian market nonrestricted barrel.

Very cool idea, much better than the M10x from the looks of it.

This is the key of the equation:

The most significant change is obviously the new receivers. The DX-7 rifle utilizes milled 6061 aluminum receivers. Not only the material is changed but also the layout of the receiver to an upper and lower one. The advantage here is that they got rid of the dust cover and the upper receiver is now a rigid scope mounting platform. The receivers have hardened steel rails built into them.

In essence, if it is not compatible with all AK47 parts to fit into the receiver, it should be deemed not prohibited (not a "variant"). I believe that is the benchmark which is being used by the gun lab - "do all the original unmodified parts fit?". There were technical memos and other stuff posted on CGN about the subject many moons ago.

Definitely worth a serious looking into by the sponsors here. ;)
