do i need a cz 858

I just bought an sks so that I CAN buy an 858 in the future....this way I can get my feet wet with the cheap ammo and justify another gun in the same caliber to my wife.

Of course I plan on having both togeather in the safe someday
 
Once I bought my 858 my SKSs have hardly seen the light of day. Lighter, better balanced, better ergonomics, detachable mags with a stripper clip guide, looks bad*ss.

It almost always comes to the range with me, everyone loves shooting it.
 
Started out with SKS's. Then bought my NR 858. Then a 7.5" Vz. Then a standard-length 15.5" Vz. SKS's are long gone, and 3 Vz's in the safe. So far.

So, short answer to your question: yes.

Long answer: hell, yes!

For me the cz/csa rifles are the most addictive. I have 4 altogether.
1 CZ 19"
1 CZ 15.5"
1 CSA 11.8"
1 CSA 7.5"
All in 762x39

Love every single one of them. they all shoot alittle different and all look so bada$$. Wish the had some other version so i have another reason to keep buying them.
 
If all these comments aren't enough to convince you then....
Let me add one more

They are great quality for the money
They are tons of fun
They don't cost nearly as much as anything in its category
Ammo is cheaper large cola gummies!!!!!!

Maybe you should buy two, that way she can have her own.

You are not alone...i have been debating between the 2 myself..the biggest problem for me is convincing my Wife on spending that much for a Rifle (858) the M305 is cheaper but man i sure like the looks of the CZ-858.

what I have learned is if you want something buy it. It might not be available later. I owned an fn lots of short barrel pistols when I was younger and now I can not own any of them. If you want an 858 you can buy one now who knows what the future holds for it or any other firearm.

Very good point, it is a shame that our Hobby/Sport is always under attack from the Political left in this Country. I think i may end up just getting that 858 this Year after all.
 
My SKS didn't see the light of day since I got a 858.

The only reason I don't sell the SKS is because it's my first rifle.

I got my first and last SKS from Lever Arms. I added a Tapco stock and 3 Tapco mags and the piece of sh!t keeps jamming..... Needless to say, the 858 goes with me every time I go to the range while the SKS stays home on guard duty in the safe.
