Do I need a different Spring in my Glock

I have a reload that works well and is very accurate out of my Glock 22. However, it throws the brass a lot further than some Wolf ammo I have used and it has more recoil. Do I need a stronger spring or is the factory spring fine ?

Might be a good idea if the load is much hotter then the normal factory stuff.

Try a 10 pound spring and check out the reduced muzzle flip.

OEM RS is 17lbs. should be good to go with any factory ammunition. however, a 15lbs or even a 13lbs might work also ; take note that the 13lbs is more dedicated to lower PF ammo.

Cheaper to order recoil springs from Glockparts or Rockyourglock. Decent prices and shipping is usually pretty cheap too.

5.4 gr of unique under 180gr campro

you shouldn't need to change out springs for that load. Unless your seating way too deep, that's a fairly moderate load.
