New to reloading and just got myself a used 550.

The 9mm caliber conversion kit is missing 2 of the #3 locator buttons but it also came with size #1 for 45acp.

Where on earth can I find #3 locator buttons in Canada. Can buy from the US but $30 shipping for $7 tiny pins hurts.

Have you tried emailing Dillon? They might ship you some for free.

If you know someone with a lathe the shaft that fits into the hole in the frame is 0.113 diameter and 0.400 high - the piece on top that butts against the case is 0.372 diameter, 0.115 high

Select Shooting Supplies in Cambridge ON, is a Canadian Dillon distributor, if you'd rather go that route. Good to deal with.

Phone Dillon and explain that the 9mm does not work with #1 pins. They will mail you some #3s. FREE

Didn't even need to explain that to them. Just told them I bought it used and it's missing the #3s and they're sending out with an owners manual.

Now that's fantastic customer service. Thank you for the advice.

Dillon does support their customers. My used SDB was missing these locators. Having a lathe, I just made some. Faster than getting replacements mailed. Recently the little plastic fingers on the priming tube failed. They sent replacements, no questions asked, no charge.

I bought my 550 used and a couple of parts where missing so I expected to have to pay for them when I contacted Dillon. I was informed that the parts would be sent out with no cost to me.
Dillion products are excellent. Best service I have had from any company so far.

Gotta love Dillon.... I managed to crack the knuckle casting that connects the ram to the handle. I emailed Dillon saying I was the second owner and all that and how much would a new part cost. Their only concern was getting my mailing address so they could send me out a new part at no cost to me. It was in my hands via direct mail within the week.

They are not cheap to buy. But they go out of their way to make their customers happy.

Tell them you're a new owner of the machine and that it arrived missing the #3 buttons. I'll bet you get the same response that the others above and I got.
