Got words today that the rifle i am waiting for, will get here, sometimes this year... The SA M21 M1A Tactical heavy Krieger SS barrel, since this afternoon when i got the news, i cant see nothing else than my S&B 5X25X56 PMll topping this iconic rifle, will have to find a real solid mount for such a heavy scope... Maybe a Sadlakk or a steel CASM gen ll... The waiting game have started... Till, im satisfied.... JP.

Congrats on getting the M21. I recommend the CASM mount over the Sadlak but, either way, the S+B will be great on top but do you really want such a weight ? I can see on a bolt gun ( that's where my S+B's sit ) but on a semi for some reason I'd look for something a little smaller. Perhaps a NF with a 50 mm obj ?

Anyway, congrats on the new toy is it 9121 or 9131 ? By the way, how is that SAI NM shooting for you ?
 
I was actually going to order that SA M21 but I decided to get an LRB M25 instead. That integral scope base is just too awesome. And I will also be getting a kreiger heavy 1:11 twist barrel on mine. It was a hard decisions, those M21's are dam nice.

The 31 is the Krieger barrel, i love my NM it shoot awsome but i REALLY wanted the iconic M21 and top it with my S&B, my take down will get a Hendsolt, i will use all my rifle at our private range so i want to try if those will perform at 600 to 1500 metres, we will have a 1200 and 1500 metres available this year, this year will shoot a lot of semis FNAR, NM, and hopefully early in the year the M21, i may get one of those S&B 12X50X56 PMll ( great bargain) but still got a couple of LRTD Sightron 10X50 to reach out... JP.

I am not a rifle builder, i dont have the patience and i like when i open the rifle case and see it for the first time full of tags and stickers, i guess, i am just a romantic... JP.
 
Caramel - while the Sightron is a good scope you really must try the PM II 12-50 and then you wont want to look through the Sightron again lol. I will likely put a NF NXS on my NM M1A and see what I can do out to 600. We can compare results.

Will do that with pleasure, my limited experience with the NM (300 rounds) showed me that this is a MOA rifle with quality ammo, i would consider it a big success keeping MOA to 1.5 MOA at 800 metres... JP.

What i really like is thar the M21 come with a Krieger H Barrel SS in 1 in 10 ROT, i think that twist is very good in 308, only had great results with my rifles wearing a 1 in 10... JP.

Being in the last tier of my life, i make sure not to let pass by me nothing i want.... But it is only a small fraction of what i give my family, shooting is fun but it would have no meanning if my loved ones were not totally taken care of... JP.

I have a rifle in the mail and am tracking it whenever I'm near a computer. Something about receiving that brown paper wrapped, clear tape covered item into your hands,...... can't explain it really.

Actually this will be my first Krieger barrel in my shooting carrer... JP.
 
Took Tomochan advise and just ordered one of them S&B 12X50X56 PMll P4F to become my load devellopment scope... JP.

I'm a 56 year old orphan and would like a new Dad, if your looking LOL
