Do none of the dealers in Canada stock Winchester's?

Seems like no one has had any amount of Winchester stock in a while? Have they stopped sending them north of the boarder or do we not buy enough for the importers to bring them in?

Winchesters in Canada are imported by Browning.

And in the past six months or so the "on hand" stock at Browning Canada has "sucked" (that's the technical term for almost non-existent).

Back in January I ordered (wish list) about two dozen rifles and a dozen shotguns and as of today I have received 2 rifles and 4 or 5 shotguns.

So it's "slow", but also slow for Browning and Mossberg (at least so far) - Browning did promise to have "stuff" by the third quarter (just before deer season).

Elwood always seems to have them in stock. Looking for anything in particular?

Yes, a stainless synthetic 270WSM, they don't have much of a selection and they probably have the best in stock in Canada.

Well I have one here, a 270 WSM EW, less than ten shots fired. and have been thinking of letting it go, as have a M70 Ew in .264 win, and a featherweight in 7x57.:d can only carry one.
Dies, brass, and pojectials as well.
Pm if Interested, as it might be on consiment at prophet river on Friday.

Last time I called SAIL in Oshawa they had a 270 wsm extreme weather in stock, also SAIL in Laval,Quebec has 2 in stock and they're on special.I am not sure but maybe they can ship between stores so you could get one from Quebec shipped to Ontario.

So I see that Ellwood Epps has a couple Extreme Weathers in stock listing over $1300. I just found one at a store not to far from me and it was listed at $1074 but when they rang it in it came up $899!!!!!!!! Plus I had a gift card so I just walked away with a brand new Winchester M70 extreme weather in 270WSM like I was looking for with taxes in for $966!!!!!!! You can say I am a happy man today:d

I was lucky with my Winnie Model 70 .243 Ultimate Shadow since the first owner bought it and never shot it for over a year. I found it on the EE Forum after it had been listed for several weeks. I was thanking my lucky stars. Now I am set for deer rifle season and coyotes for the winter fun. :)

Good luck in your search for Winnie Model 70 joy

Cheers, Barney.
