Do people think you're crazy?

Join the club. I don't talk much about guns, especially with chicks, it's not exactly foolproof date material. I have been getting the "you're crazy" for years being a supersport motorcycle owner. Normal people do buy Hayabusa's and those same people buy guns too.

You should consider yourself lucky that you don't have to contend with the quote: "I'm so crazy that if I had a motorcycle, I would kill myself." It's just pure envy and I find it revolting.

I don't go out of my way to make it known that I'm into shooting sports but its almost always "Why would you want a handgun?" in a very disapproving tone.

I ride too (R6 but i'm getting an R1 next season) and I hear that quote ALL THE FRIGGEN TIME! The people that say that are the ones that are to chicken sh!t to ride.... and i'll say that to someone's face. :D
 
When my co-workers found out I liked to shoot they nicknamed me "The employee most likly to return with an assault rifle"! I really thought that was funny, not accurate, but funny. Even funnier is whenever a relative pass' away and they come to me right away for values or to buy their family heirlooms. I wish I had more money!
 
Most people are okay when you say rifle, or maybe shotgun. But pistol? EVIL! Eeeeevil! Haha. :)
But I'm very well-dressed and clean cut, I look like the typical city boy.
So when I talk about handguns, they look at me crazy, like it's odd of me. Oh well. :)
